Saw-whet Owl

from $36.00

I was heart-broken to hear one of these little guys had been in the 2020 Rockefeller Christmas tree. It made the whole trip in the tree on the back of a flatbed. Good news, they did rehydrate the little guys When he was ready a few days later, they released him in an area to migrate with the others.

Painted in Professional Winsor & Newton Watercolors on 100% cotton rag archival HP watercolor paper.

Finished size is 8”x10”.

This painting is also available as open edition Giclee quality prints. They arrive ready to frame and hang.

The reference photo for this painting was taken by Sam May.
